Not every 70 Series build needs a dual gauge setup. Some owners only want a single boost gauge for monitoring turbo pressure. Others want a single pyrometer for exhaust gas temperatures when towing heavy. A single gauge pillar pod replaces or covers the factory A-pillar trim with a moulded mount that holds one 52mm gauge in the driver's eyeline. Clean factory-adjacent fitment, no drilling into the dash, and proper visibility for the one piece of information you actually want at a glance. For owners doing a minimalist gauge install, the single pod is the right call.

HIGH-IMPACT ABS, NO-DRILL FITMENT

Each single gauge pillar pod is moulded from high-impact ABS that handles cabin temperatures, vibration, and UV exposure without cracking or warping. The pod is shaped to follow the contour of the 70 Series A-pillar for a flush fit with no gaps. Mounting clips onto existing pillar trim or replaces it entirely using factory mounting points and supplied hardware. Installation takes around twenty minutes. The gauge cutout accepts standard 52mm mechanical or digital gauges from any major brand, with internal cable routing to the firewall.

DRIVER OR PASSENGER SIDE FITMENT

Pillar pods are matched to the specific A-pillar shape on the 70 Series. The 2009 onwards VDJ V8 and GDJ facelift use the same A-pillar profile, so the same pod fits both eras. Driver-side and passenger-side options are available for owners who prefer the gauge mounted on the right or left of the cabin depending on what is being monitored.
