The 2009 to 2023 dashboard is the most common 70 Series dash on Australian roads today. Toyota updated the dash in 2009 and kept the same basic layout through to the 2023 end of VDJ V8 production. That is fourteen years of vehicles using the same fascia, which means most VDJ79 single cabs, VDJ79 dual cabs, VDJ78 Troopys, and VDJ76 wagons fall into this dash mat fitment. The custom cut covers the entire dash surface with cutouts for every vent, sensor, gauge cluster window, and centre speaker so nothing is obstructed and demister airflow stays unrestricted.

BREATHABLE UV-STABILISED CONSTRUCTION

Made from UV-stabilised high-grade polyester that breathes rather than traps heat. The factory dash plastics on a VDJ70 are prone to cracking around the corners and along the speaker grille after years of summer sun, so the mat works as both a heat shield and a physical UV barrier. The charcoal finish stays colour-stable through years of direct sun exposure without fading, shrinking, or going hard. The mat lays flat against the dashboard surface with no bunching, slipping, or curling at the edges.

FITS ALL THREE BODY STYLES OF VDJ V8

The 2009 to 2023 dash is shared across the VDJ76 Wagon, VDJ78 Troop Carrier, and VDJ79 single cab and dual cab, so the mat fits all of them. Pre-2009 vehicles use the earlier dashboard layout and need the 2007 to 2009 transition cut or the pre-2007 cut. Post-2023 vehicles run the GDJ facelift dash which is different again.
